The big conference, with room for thousands of guests

Are you planning a major conference, trade show or event? We have Denmark’s third largest exhibition and event centre with room for 10,000 diners, as well as 5,000 beds within a 20-minute drive.

Fredericia has plenty of space for both small and large corporate events. Our exhibition centre, MESSE C, is the third largest of its kind in Denmark. And it’s just minutes from the motorway.

This page shows a small selection of the hundreds of events MESSE C hosts annually to give an example of what’s possible in the 33,000 square metres of space.

Summer party for 3,000 guests: Dinner and dancing

MESSE C transformed one of the halls into a huge party hall, designed for those who want space to chat in cosy lounge areas, party together on a huge dance floor, make use of selfie areas, gin bars, beer bars and wine bars, alongside quiet lounge areas for those who need a bit more quiet time to chat with colleagues.

The party started with a meal at elegantly set tables. The delicious organic menu was served at several different buffet tables.

During the dinner, there were speeches and entertainment on stage, as well as several big screens so that everyone could see and join in.

After dinner, the dance floor opened and guests danced the night away, interrupted only by visits to the bars.

Employee day for 300 guests: Festival themed

When the homeware chain Kop & Kande wanted to gather their 300 employees from all over the country, they chose MESSE C as the organiser. The events department set up the hall as a festival site with a fire pit outside and lanterns and tents inside the hall.

There were various activities and competitions throughout the day, all based on Kop & Kande’s own product range. For example, employees had to use items from Kop & Kande to decorate cakes, guided by professional pastry chefs. There was also an opportunity to make soup with a new blender, guided by chefs and judges from the national culinary team. Cocktails were mixed, pancakes were cooked over a campfire and much more.

Employees returned home with new friendships and an increased knowledge of the chain’s products.

Success is in the details, and MESSE C has them under control – and the employees were positive and happy. The hall was beautifully decorated and was a far cry from Kop & Kande. Employees felt like they had stepped into a Kop & Kande festival site and spent the whole day in their own little universe.
